How do I save a diagram on my phone?

About 2 min · Updated 2026-09-13

Mobile browsers download normally. In-app browsers inside messaging apps often block downloads — open the page in a real browser first. On a phone, editing, themes and download live on the bottom bar.

Short answer

In Safari, Chrome or any normal mobile browser, tap Download and the file saves. In-app browsers — the one inside a messaging app, for example — commonly block downloads triggered by a web page; open the link in a real browser first and it works.

How the phone layout works

In portrait the screen is two layers: the diagram on top, a bar at the bottom.

  1. Tap Edit to slide the code drawer up and paste the whole AI reply. When the code is recognised the drawer closes and the diagram fills the screen.
  2. Tap Theme for the palette panel.
  3. Tap Download for formats and scale.

Pinch to zoom, double-tap empty space to reset.

Something to try on the phone

Open this in the editor, then walk through Theme and Download on the bottom bar:

flowchart TD
    A[Message arrives] --> B{Attachment?}
    B -- Yes --> C[Save to photos]
    B -- No --> D[Copy the text]
    C --> E([Done])
    D --> E
Open in the editorEdit the text, switch themes and download PNG, Word or PowerPoint from there.

Picking it up on another device

Signing in lets you save a diagram to the cloud and open it somewhere else. Without signing in, your work lives in this browser only and clearing site data removes it. Rendering and export never require an account.
